1.3 : TO DEVELOP A TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER
PROJECT (*) WITH A FRENCH COMPANY
We offer our services (in the form of a service package made up of various
diagnoses adapted to your needs and situation, advice, help and assistance)
to foreign companies eager to form technology partnerships (++ technology
transfers) with French companies wishing to export their know-how.
* These services form a whole; the success of our missions depends on them;
the various services that they comprise are therefore inseparable from each
other and cannot - in principle – be provided "from time to time"
or separately. (**)
To be brief, our
services are as follows :
"Pre-diagnosis" (viability /
potentiality) aimed at establishing the company’s strengths and weaknesses in
its sector and in competitive terms and – in the event of the mission being
accepted - defining the planned project’s broad guidelines and main lines (assessing
the transfer option notably as far as the possible export alternative is
concerned),
Assessment of the planned operation in
terms of cost / profitability, possible analysis of planned sales strategy,
etc.,
Drafting a practical, succinct, accurate specifications
sheet for the planned transfer,
Deciding on the transfer option and
practical transfer details and the partnership uniting the participants in
accordance with the requirements defined of common accord by the parties
involved,
Advice and assistance in drafting all or
part of the various contracts and documents finalising and formalising the
technology transfer operation, etc.
(*) Requirements (**)
Project financially "of human proportions" (in accordance with the
pre-diagnosis)
Companies (target and source) that meet the following three prerequisites:
- At least 5 years old,
- Between 100 and 250 employees,
- Generating an average turnover of between $500,000 and $2m over the last 3
(or better still 5) years.
(**) Exceptions may nevertheless be made but must be considered individually;
the essential company’s intrinsic capacity / project viability combination
must be respected whatever the project.
1.4 : TO HAVE THEIR
INSTRUCTION LEAFLETS AND SALES AND TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS TRANSLATED INTO GOOD
FRENCH :
A major issue for all foreign companies establishing themselves in France is
the translation of the directions for use of the equipment and goods intended
to be marketed in France. It is essential that these instruction leaflets and
technical documents be translated into French; we are committed to ensuring
such documents are translated into correct French accessible to all.
